- Unless of course, this is not just a simple bump. A simple bump jostles
- one person. A binary post jostles millions of people. Although Gene was
- nasty to the original poster, he has a right to be. A natural mistake is
- a natural mistake but sometimes even the most kindest of intentions can
- incite the nastiest of flames and responses. There's a good and bad side
- to everything.

- Before I started reading USENET, I took a look at several pieces of
- documentation regarding posting. The important points were that I was
- not to post something that was previously posted nor was I supposed to
- waste bandwidth by doing something to bottleneck the lines. Nowadays,
- people don't pay attention to *netiquette*. Even online, there are rules
- for discussions.
